workshop content

6 hour Workshop

The 6 hour Workshop takes place in a classroom. In addition, there is an hour for lunch which will be provided.

  • The Workshops comprises of a 3 hour morning session, an hour for lunch and a 3 hour afternoon session. No practical on-road riding is involved.
  • Each rider will be encouraged to take part in an inter-active presentation, facilitated by a professional trainer. All we ask is that riders attend with an open mind.

The Workshop covers these key areas:

  • Motorcyclists – who is most at risk?
  • Rider perceptions – the rules of the road.
  • Collisions – causes, characteristics, circumstances.
  • Human factors – how safe are you really?
  • Hazard perception – identifying and responding to risk.

  • The Workshop’s aim is to encourage a positive and responsible approach to motorcycling to prevent further unnecessary deaths and injuries.
